Ministry Leadership Challenge

Sources say 100,000 pastors are experiencing career burnout and as many as 4,300 clergy are seriously considering leaving the ministry for good.

  • The Barna Group reports that 1,500 pastors are leaving the ministry every month.  Fact: 4,000 churches begin each year but over 7,000 close their doors.
  • 61% of all pastors feel relationally isolated.
  • 50% of pastors who go into full time ministry drop out within five years.
  • One sixth of all pastors feel under -appreciated
  • Only one out of every seven Senior Pastors (14%) say that they are effective at thinking and acting strategically.
  • Most pastors cannot articulate a personal or ministry vision

"I want to collaborate with ministry leaders worldwide to create an increasingly effective leadership culture.  My desire is to see leaders experience deep fulfillment, productivity, and longevity."
